Residential Garbage Collection Time Change

Beginning Monday, May 18, 2020, Sevierville Public Works solid waste operations will be fully staffed, after having employees on a rotating furlough system over the past two months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

To continue social distancing in all workplaces while maintaining services, some employees will be starting work earlier than normal, which will result in earlier than normal residential garbage collection schedules.

 

Until further notice, please place garbage containers at curbside the night before pickup or by 5 a.m. on the day of collection. You may also hear or see trucks in your area collecting yard waste and junk/bulk waste earlier than usual.
